Since 2013, the projection mapping event "Haruka" has been held annually to support the recovery of Fukushima and the Tohoku region from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In its seventh year, 2019, the event was held at Tsuruga Castle in Aizuwakamatsu City.
Ryuichi Sakamoto initially served as the music director, and since 2017, Taro Ishida has taken on this role. Our company proudly served as the music director for the third consecutive year under his leadership.
To help people experience SAMURAI CITY Aizuwakamatsu, we upgraded the well-received "Winds of Boshin: Clouds of Flowers" from 2018 for this year's event. Continuing from last year, the projection mapping depicted the "courage to face trials" and "indomitable spirit" that live on in Fukushima.
In the climax, singer Kumiko Mori appeared and performed the reconstruction support song "Hana wa Saku" from the top floor of the castle tower, expressing her hopes for recovery.
