Taro Ishida created music for "UNLIMITED SPACE" within the "Kashiwa Sato Exhibition" held at the National Art Center, Tokyo from February 3 to April 24, 2021.
A camera installed in the "UNLIMITED SPACE" booth captured the visitors. The captured human figures were then shaped in real time using the names of products currently being searched for on Rakuten.
Kashiwa Sato asked me to completely ignore the friendliness of Rakuten and express the ultra-high-tech world behind its friendliness in the music.
I used MAX/MSP, a programming software, to create the sound.
The music has no melody or beat, but I tried to create music that would feel comfortable and groove when combined with the images.
